Sealing the cover

Check that the cover mating surface is level.

Wipe the cleaned mating surfaces on the cover and transmission. Use denatured alcohol.

NOTE:

Ensure that no dirt gets into the transmission.

Place an approximately 3 mm thick bead of sealing compound (P/N 11611409-6) on the cover. (P/N 11611409-6). Apply sealant around the screw holes.
