Removing the inlet valve / overfill protection

NOTE:

Always clean around any connections that will be disconnected. This is to prevent contaminants from entering the system.

CAUTION:

Remove the level sensor before removing the inlet valve. This is because the inlet valve catches on the level sensor during installation / removal

Remove:

the guard for the gas tank. Drain the tank
the gas pipe
the connector
the tank. See Replacing the gas tank . Place the tank on end to prevent damaging the level sensor
the level sensor. See Replacing the level sensor for the gas tank
the valve.
