Installing the inlet valve / overfill protection

CAUTION:
Before installation, check that the pipe ends and connections are undamaged.
NOTE:
Tighten the pipe couplings. See Tightening pipe connections .
Install the valve. Use thread sealant 116 1056 when installing.
Tighten to 80 Nm . Then turn the valve to the correct position (maximum one revolution).
WARNING:
For safety reasons, ensure that the valve is installed facing in the correct direction. See the marking on the inlet valve which should point upwards.
If the valve is new . Install the angle nipple on the valve. Tighten to the correct angle.
Install:
- the level sensor. See Replacing the level sensor for the gas tank .NOTE:
The level sensor must be installed when the tank is upright
- the tank. See Replacing the gas tank
- the connector
- the gas pipe. Check for leakage. See Gas pipe, checking for leaks
- the guard for the gas tank.
Connect the connector in the cargo compartment.
