Install the transmission

Use the transmission fixture and the mobile jack to line up the transmission with the engine.

NOTE: Ensure that the transmission goes straight in towards the engine without any deviations in the clutch plate center.

Install the 7 screws. Tighten crosswise. Begin with screws A and B which pass through the guide sleeves. Lightly tighten the screws alternately. Check that the transmission and engine are in contact all the way around.
Then tighten the screws alternately as above. Tighten to 50 Nm .

NOTE: Correct tightening is vital. Misalignment between the transmission and engine can cause transmission noise.

Remove the transmission fixture and the mobile jack from the transmission.
