Install the sub-frame

CAUTION: Use new screws (4 x M14). Lubricate the screw threads. Ensure that the screws for the steering gear locate in the sub-frame

Start on the left-hand side. Lift the sub-frame using the mobile jack. Locate the screws for the steering gear in the sub-frame
Install the screws in the sub-frame and the support bracket. First tighten the frame screws to 105 Nm + 120 . Then tighten the screws for the frame bracket to 50 Nm . Use bevel protractor 9512050
Move the mobile jack to the right-hand side. Remove the existing screws and repeat the operation.

Remove:

the lifting hook, the lifting beam, the fender edge supports and the lifting fork.

Tighten the nut for the splash guard at the rear engine pad to 50 Nm.

Install:

5 new nuts in the steering gear. Tighten to 50 Nm
The screw for the sub-frame and the front engine mounting. Then tighten the screws for the front and rear engine mountings to 50 Nm .

Install:

The torque rod mounting on the transmission. Use new screws. Use bevel protractor 9512050 . Tighten to: 18 Nm + 90° for early models, M8 35 Nm + 40° for later models, M10
The screws for the bracket for the oil pipes. Tighten to 25 Nm .

Tighten the clamp for the exhaust pipe

Twist the pipes when tightening.
