Left Drive Shaft

Turn and fold out the spring strut. Tap on the drive shaft end with a plastic or copper mallet and pull out the drive shaft end from the hub.

Remove:

Pull out the drive shaft from the gearbox. Use the jimmy tool 9995462 between the gearbox and the inside of the drive shaft.

NOTE: Take care not to damage drive shaft seal and boots.

Install the seal plug 9995488 in the gearbox.

Clean the splined joint (hub-drive shaft) from metal adhesive.

Lower the engine and the transmission.

Lower using the lifting hook 9995460 until the distance between the lifting bar and the valve cover approximately 250 mm.

NOTE: Make sure that no cables or hoses are trapped or stretched.

NOTE: Make sure the exhaust pipe does not hook in the turbocharger's oil pipe.
