Removing the drive shaft

Take hold of the inner constant velocity joint. Pull the drive shaft straight out of the gearbox.

NOTE: Do not damage the seal.

CAUTION: Do not under any circumstances pull the outer section of the drive shaft in such a way that could cause the joints to separate. The joints do not have axial pinions.

Install the sealing plug 9995488 in the transmission.
