Venting the Gaiter

Venting is carried out to remove any overpressure in the gaiter. Use a rounded screwdriver.

Carefully insert the screwdriver between the drive shaft and gaiter. Ensure that the gaiter is in position on the drive shaft.

Ensure that the gaiter is aligned against the inner rib on the drive shaft.

Install a new clamp. Use pliers .

Install the drive shafts

Spray wax, part number 30787812, on the outer gaiter. After installing drive shaft in vehicle, turn the wheel and check, and improve if needed, the wax protection on the gaiter.
