Preparatory work

If the car has manual adjustment for the parking brake see the illustration and (1). Reset the parking brake. See Parking Brake, Adjusting .
If the car has a self-adjusting parking brake.
Reassemble and lock the self-adjuster unit for the parking brake. See Parking Brake Self-Adjustment, Resetting .
