Remove oil pipe and hose from transmission

Rinse pipe and hose with Dexron II E/Ford-Mercon ATF oil.

Install oil pipe on the new transmission

Install a new O-ring on the quick-coupling.

Flush oil cooler with Dexron IIE/Ford-Mercon ATF automatic transmission fluid.

Install a hose to the upper oil cooler connection.

Place a container beneath the return hose. Flush with Dexron IIE/Ford-Mercon ATF automatic transmission fluid.
