Check, cables and components

Check cables between the control module #A4, #A5, #A6, #A18, #A19 and the CD-ROM player terminals 4, 5, 11, 12, 13 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults , a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults , and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

Check that the CD-ROM player connector is connected.

If the cables and connector are OK, try a new CD-ROM player.

Remedy as necessary.
