Remove: 

• the seat from the car. See Lifting the front seats in and out 
• the backrest adjustment knob. See Backrest adjustment knob 
• the head restraint. See Head restraint front seat 
• the protective pad. See Protective pad 
• the SIPS bag. See Airbag module seat (SIPS), replacing .
