Removing the Fuel Line For the Engine Coolant Heater

WARNING: Protective gloves and protective goggles must be used for the following operations. This is due to the risk of fuel spillage.

Remove: 

HINT: Use special tool  9512619  (Oetiker pliers) to remove and to fasten the clamps. 

Pull the pipe loose from the clip.

Remove:

Plug the hoses.

Remove: 

Disconnect the quick-release connector (as illustrated). Pull up the fuel hose.
