Removing the Heat Exchanger

Remove: 

• the heater. See Engine Coolant Heater, Replacing 
• the control module. See Control Module Engine Coolant Heater, Replacing 
• the water pump. See Replacing the Water Pump For the Engine Coolant Heater 
• the glow plug. See Replacing the Glow Plugs Of the Engine Coolant Heater 
• the cable harness.

Expose and replace the heat exchanger.
