Fuel Line And Fuel Pump

WARNING: Protective gloves and protective goggles must be used for the following operations. This is due to the risk of fuel spillage.

Fig 1: Identifying Fuel Hose Clamp, Pump Connector & Oetiker Clamps

Remove the hose clamp from the fuel hose.

Disconnect the fuel pump connector.

NOTE: Use Oetiker pincers 3374 to slacken off and secure the Oetiker clamps.

Remove the 2 nuts retaining the pump holder.

Hold the damper while removing the fuel pump (FP).
