The Climate Control Unit On the Passenger Compartment Member

• Check and replace the floor seals if necessary.

Install: 

• the front seal for the refrigerant pipe. Check and replace the O-rings.

Position: 

• the climate control unit in the car
• the member on the climate control unit
  NOTE: Two people required.

Install: 

• the screws and the bracket on the member for the climate control unit.

• Install and secure the cable duct
• Check and position the cables for the radio and the dashboard environment unit.

• Take out the cable for the sensor on the dashboard and light switch.

• Position the member for the climate control unit against the firewall
• Check the location in relation to the opening for the coolant and heat exchange pipes.

• Press the member for the climate control unit into position against the firewall A-post
• Secure the member for the climate control unit against the A-post loosely with the screws.

• Secure the member for the climate control on the center console loosely using the screws.

Tighten: 

• the member on the A-post
• the screws on the center console.

• Install the air ducts.
