Installing Hoses

• Position the refrigerant pipe against the firewall
• Position the front section.

• Carry out other work in reverse order.

• Vacuum pump the system and leak test. See Refrigerant, Draining
• Fill the system with refrigerant and check for leaks. See Refrigerant, Draining
• Connect the battery negative lead. See Battery, Replacing

Tighten to: 

Tighten the hose/pipe coupling to the junction point on the side member. Tighten to 25 Nm  .

Tighten the pipe coupling to the receiver. Tighten to 10 Nm  .

Tighten the pipe coupling to the expansion valve. Tighten to 10 Nm  .

Tighten the mounting for the pipe between the expansion valve and the side member. Tighten to 25 Nm  .

Tighten the protective cap for the filling valve. Tighten to 6 Nm  .
