Condenser - Work Under the Car
- Screw the protective sleeve loosely into place on the service valve
- Install the receiver/dryer. See Accumulator/Receiver Drier, Replacing .
- Fill the condenser with oil. See Filling the A/C System With OilNOTE: Always use new O-rings lubricated with compressor oil.
- Press the air conditioning aggregate backwards. Push the condenser up slightly. Install the switch from the pressure sensor on the receiver.
- Thread in the lower screws for the air conditioning aggregate
- Check that the condenser is in the correct position against the air conditioning aggregate. Tighten the screws for the air conditioning aggregate.
- Position the hose/pipe from the compressor in the mounting hook. Position the hose/pipe in the hose connector on the condenser
- Thread and tighten the screw by hand so that the hose connector touches the bottom
- Tighten the screw for the hose connector from the compressor. Tighten to 25 Nm 6 Nm .
- Position the air conditioning aggregate against the rubber seals. Tighten the screws for the air conditioning aggregate against the member
- Check that the seals are correctly positioned.
- Install the hose connector for the receiver. Tighten. Tighten to 10 Nm .
- Install the air baffle.
- Thread the upper screws for the air conditioning aggregate on the condenser. Tighten the screws.
- Thread the screws on the upper mountings on the air conditioning aggregate. Tighten the screws.
- Vacuum pump the system and test for leaks. See Refrigerant, Draining
- Fill the system with refrigerant and check for leaks. See Refrigerant, Draining
- Connect the battery negative lead. See Battery, Replacing .
