Soundproofing panel, replacing: Overview

Removing soundproofing panels

Remove two screws.

Remove the panel by pulling it straight down.

Remove two screws.

Remove the panel by pulling it straight down.

Installing soundproofing panel

Install:

In reverse order.

Replacing the driver's side soundproofing panel

NOTE:

The side panel may be scratched if it is not removed before the soundproofing panel.

Remove the side panel on the center console. See Replacing the side panel .

The reverse of the soundproofing panel is secured to the dashboard with clips and sits in a groove by the pedal box.

Remove the two screws
Pull the soundproofing panel straight down at the dashboard
Pull the soundproofing panel backwards into the car
Lift out the soundproofing panel.

Install:

In reverse order.

Replacing the passenger side soundproofing panel

The back of the soundproofing panel is secured to the dashboard with clips and sits in a groove at the front.

Remove the two screws
Pull the clips straight down
Pull the soundproofing panel backwards into the car
Lift out the soundproofing panel.

Install:

In reverse order.
