Installing the needle bearing

Ensure that the needle bearing in the boot is in the groove. Lubricate the needle bearing in the boot with low temperature grease

NOTE: If necessary, make sure that the plain bearing is properly seated. Lubricate the plain bearing in the boot with low temperature grease, part no. 1161427-8 (6 grams).

Lubricate the edge on the inside of the inner part of the gaiter with soapy water.
