Install the steering column and the steering shaft

Insert the steering column upside down.

Turn to the right to the correct position.

Install the steering shaft on the steering column
Ensure that the splines on the steering shaft are clean
Lubricate the steering shaft splines and the steering column bearing. Use low temperature grease, P/N 1161417-9 (30 grams).
Lubrication is important to avoid noise from the steering column.

NOTE: Check that the rear seat rails are undamaged.

Hook the steering column into the three guides
Install the screws. Tighten to 25 Nm . Tighten the rear screw first.
