Solenoid, steering gear, replacement: Removing

Lift up the car and remove the front wheel on the left side.

Remove:

protective cover under engine (applies to some versions)
protection over the drive axle for better access (applies to some versions)

Place a container under the steering gear to collect the oil.

NOTE: Clean very carefully around the solenoid before removing is started.

Remove:

the connector
the screws, 2 pcs., for the solenoid
the solenoid.
