Solenoid, steering gear, replacement: Installing

NOTE: Check carefully that there are no impurities.

Change the filter in the steering gear to the new one included in the kit.

Lube the solenoid's seals with some oil.

NOTE: Only use Volvo power steering fluid, part number 30741424 (1 liter).

Install the solenoid with the new screws, 2 pcs., included in the kit and tighten alternately to contact.

Tighten in the following order:

(1) 0.5 Nm
(2) 1.5 Nm
(1) 2.9 Nm
(2) 2.9 Nm

Plug in the connector for the solenoid.
