Removing the pressure hose

Slacken off screw (1) a few turns.

Remove:

the lock bracket (2)
the pipe nipple at the pump.

Release the clamp on the sub-frame.

Remove the return hose. See Replacing the return hose .

Remove the nipple beside the steering gear. Pull the pipe out of the steering gear.

Remove:

the fuel line for the heater from the clips on the sub-frame
the servo pipe from the clips on the sub-frame and pull downwards.

Applies only to All-wheel drive (AWD):

Removing the front propeller shaft

NOTE: If the same propeller shaft is to be reused, mark the propeller shaft CV joint in relation to the bevel gear flange.

Remove the screws from the propeller shaft.

Use counterhold 9995743 .

Pull down the front section of the hose.

Remove the hose.

NOTE: Make a note of the routing of the hose.
