Installing the sub-frame

NOTE:

Use new screws. Oil the screws.

Lift the sub-frame until it is against the frame members.

Install:

new screws in the sub-frame
the washers at the front edge and the support plates at the rear edge of the sub-frame
the evaporator cable and the oil pipe into place in the sub-frame clips.

Install the four subframe screws together with the subframe brackets and engine heater where appropriate.

Tighten to: Tightening torque . First tighten the screws on the left-hand side of the subframe followed by those on the right.

Tighten the bracket screws M10.

Cars with parking heaters

Install the parking heater in the bracket. Tighten the nuts.
