Installing the drive shaft in the wheel hub, both sides

Lubricate the drive shaft splines for the wheel hub using a small amount of oil.
Hold down the control arm. Align the drive shaft in the hub. Remove the guard from the ball joint. Align the ball joint lug in the control arm. Install a new lock nut on the ball joint. Tighten. See: Tightening torque .
NOTE:
Counterhold with a Torx wrench in the ball joint's end while tightening so that the gaiter does not twist.
Install a new screw for the drive shaft / wheel hub. Tighten.
