Installing the carrier plate

NOTE:

Ensure that the mating surfaces on the crankshaft and carrier plate are completely clean.

Install the carrier plate and the two washers. The washer between the crankshaft flange and the carrier plate is completely flat.

The washer under the screw heads has a dome which must point towards the transmission.

Use new  screws.

The carrier plate can only be installed in one way.

Install gear sector 9995112 .

Tighten the screws crosswise. Tighten to 60 Nm  . Then angle-tighten all 10 screws crosswise. Tighten to 90°.

Remove counterhold 9995112
