Checking for contact resistance and oxidation

Check the amplifier and head unit / audio control module connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation . Remedy if necessary.

If the sound reproduction is now OK, the fault was due to a bad connection in the connectors.

Is sound reproduction OK? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
