Checking the LPG Indicator Lamp: Notes

HINT: The Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) indicator lamp is controlled by the Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) control module. The lamp does not light until the conditions for gas operation are met and gas power is engaged.

HINT: The combined instrument panel must be fault free.

Ignition off
Connect the breakout box to the Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) control module wiring. See Connecting the breakout box to the LPG control module . Leave the control module disconnected
Ignition on.
Temporarily connect a cable to the breakout box between terminal #A29 (#J1/29) and ground. The LPG indicator lamp should then light.

Remove the temporary cable after the check.

Does the indicator lamp light up?

YES
FAULT NOT FOUND: Troubleshooting has been completed.
NO
