Checking CD-ROM player

NOTE:

If the CD ROM disc is dirty or damaged the test will indicate that the player is not OK. Check/clean the CD-ROM disc or try a new CD-ROM disc for this test.

Ignition on.
Insert a CD-ROM disc with map information into the CD-ROM player.
Use System test function to test CD-ROM player functions. For more information about the System test, see System Test .
Check that CD-ROM player is OK.

If the CD-ROM player function is now OK, the fault was due to the CD-ROM disc.

Is the CD-ROM player OK?

YES
OKAY: Troubleshooting has been completed.
NO
