Replacing seat assembly: Notes

Remove:

Secure mechanical seat belt tensioner. See Secure/unsecure seat belt tensioner

Head restraint. See Replacing front seat head restraint
Side compartment (A). Lift up front edge and press backward.
Seat belt from seat mounting (bolt on outside of seat)
Panel (B) over front edge of seat rail
4 securing screws (C) in seat rails
Heater pad connector (under seat).
Lift seat straight up (locating pins in front and rear edges).

Install:

In reverse order.

NOTE:

The outer rear mounting bolt (C) is tightened last. Failure to do so may result in the seat being incorrectly installed.

Tightening torques:

Seats/floor:40 10 Nm

Seat belt:20 5 Nm
