Left/Right Front Seat Belt NX10/NX11, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

If Components of the Belt System is Removed Due an Accident.

-- Replace all bolts from the belt system. Refer to Overview - Front Three-Point Seat Belt .

Continuation for All Vehicles

-- Insert the front seat belt with anti-twist mechanism -1- in direction of -arrow- into the mount and tighten the bolt.

Attach the Connectors until They Click into Place.

-- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

CAUTION:

Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.

Risk of injury.

- Keep as far away as possible from the pyrotechnic component when switching the ignition on.

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- For vehicles with Left Front Seat Belt Tensioner Control Module -J854- or Right Front Seat Belt Tensioner Control Module -J855-, adapt the components to the Airbag Control Module -J234- using a Vehicle Diagnostic Tester after replacing the seat belt.
