Rear Seat Backrest Locking Mechanism, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the seat. Refer to BENCH SEAT/SINGLE SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the outer trim panel. Refer to OVERVIEW - BENCH SEAT/SINGLE SEATS .

-- Remove the inner trim panel. Refer to OVERVIEW - BENCH SEAT/SINGLE SEATS .

-- Remove the locking mechanism trim. Refer to LOCKING MECHANISM TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the cover and cushion from the backrest. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the backrest cover. Refer to BACKREST COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Drill out the rivets -2- from the operating lever -1-.

-- Remove the clips -4-.

-- Remove the bolt -5- from the outside.

-- Disengage the release cable -3- on the seat frame.

-- Guide the release cable -3- out of the seat frame and backrest frame and remove with the release lever -1-.
