Glove Compartment Lid Damping Element, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the glove compartment lid into the service position. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT LID SERVICE POSITION .

-- Disconnect the connector for the Glove Compartment Lamp Switch -E26- from the damper -1-.

-- Turn the damper -1- 90° (¹ /₄ of a turn) clockwise -arrow- and remove it from the glove compartment -2-.

-- Move/release the steering rack -1- in -direction of the arrow- and remove it from the glove compartment lid.
