Stub Shaft Needle Bearing (Polygon Bearing), Replacing: Installing

-- Arrange both parts of the tool so that the markings "B" face each other.

-- To prevent the running surface of the bearing on the shaft from being damaged, rotate the shaft while pressing -arrow-.

-- Secure the needle bearing with a new circlip.

-- Carefully drive the stub shaft in as far as the stop using a plastic hammer.

-- Install a new circlip -1- on the stub shaft.

-- Install the right drive axle. Refer to DRIVE AXLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the heat shield. Tightening Specification. Refer to DRIVE AXLE HEAT SHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the bevel box. Refer to BEVEL BOX, INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH 3.6L, 206 KW ENGINE .

-- Check oil level in bevel box. Refer to GEAR OIL, CHECKING LEVEL .

-- Install the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
