Right Seal On Bevel Box, Replacing: Installing

-- Lightly oil the outer edge of the new seal.

-- Fill the area between the sealing lip and dust lip -arrow- halfway with Sealing Grease.

-- Install the gasket all the way.

-- Install a new circlip and a new seal on the stub shaft.

Bevel Box with Cap

-- Install the new cap all the way.

-- Check the gear oil in the bevel box. Refer to GEAR OIL, CHECKING LEVEL .

-- Then install the circlip -arrow A- and the O-ring -arrow B-.

-- Grease the stub shaft spline with Lubricating Grease for Clutch Plate Splines.

-- Install the drive axle. Refer to DRIVE AXLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the drive axle heat shield -1-. Refer to DRIVE AXLE HEAT SHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
