Center Muffler Heat Shield, Removing And Installing

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Engine and Gearbox Jack:VAS 6931

-- Loosen the mounting for the exhaust system -3- lower it slightly using the Engine and Gearbox Jack:VAS 6931 . Refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER - 2.0L , OVERVIEW - MUFFLER - 3.6L .

-- Loosen the lock washers -2-.

-- Remove the heat shield -1- rearward in direction of -arrow a-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
