Brake Booster -NX6-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Replace the seal between the brake booster and bulkhead.

-- Insert the brake booster and install the nuts hand tight.

-- Refer to Brake Pedal, Attaching to Brake Booster .

-- Install the brake lines with the Torque Wrench - Assembly Tool: VAG1410/8  .

Conditions

-- Tighten the brake booster.

-- Refer to Hydraulic System, Bleeding  .

If the Brake Booster Control Module -J539- was Replaced, Then the Test Plan for Replacing the Control Module Must Be Completed.

-- Complete the "Control module, replacing" function with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .
