Hood Latch, Adjusting

- Adjustment Gauge: 3371
Requirement
- Do not use the hood latch to center the hood in the -direction of the arrow A-.
- The striker must strike in the center of the hood latch. Refer to Striker, Adjusting .
Tip
The hood can be adjusted in the -direction of the arrow B- to the front bumper cover.
-- Loosen the bolts -2- to adjust the hood latch -1- in the -direction of arrow A- or the -direction of arrow B-.
-- Check the gap dimensions using the Gauge - Gap Adjustment: 3371 . Note the BODY FRONT when doing this.
-- Apply corrosion protection to the bolts -2-. Refer to CORROSION PROTECTION FOR BODY, ATTACHED AND WELDED PARTS .
