Fan Shroud With Radiator Fan, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Performing impact member service position. Refer to BUMPER CARRIER SERVICE POSITION, SETTING AND RESETTING .

CAUTION:

There is a risk of injury if the radiator fan turns on by itself.

- When performing procedures near the radiator maintain a distance to the radiator.

- Do not reach into the radiator fan when disconnecting the connector.

-- Disconnect the connector for the Radiator Fan -VX57- -arrow-.

For reasons of clarity, the following procedures are shown with the radiator module removed.

-- Push in the left and right retaining straps -1- for the fan shroud -2- in the -direction of the arrow A-.

-- Pull off the fan shroud -2- upward from the radiator -direction of the arrow B-.

-- Position the fan shroud -2- at an angle and remove it upward.
