Driveshaft Flange Seal, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Drive in the seal -1- with the Seal Installer - Shaft Seal Ring:T10019 -2-.

The installation depth of the seals must be 2 mm deeper than the measured initial value.

-- Install the slide washer.

-- Drive in the flange -1- using the Press Piece - 37mm:VW 416B -2-.

-- Insert the circlip.

The circlip must be seated all around in the groove.

-- Install the driveshaft. Refer to DRIVESHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Check the oil level from the final drive and if necessary add the oil. Refer to HYPOID CHAMBER OIL LEVEL, CHECKING .
