All-Wheel Drive Clutch, Removing And Installing, Generation V: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
-- Remove the old O-ring -arrow- from the all-wheel drive clutch.
-- Insert the new O-ring -arrow- and lightly lubricate with High Performance All-Wheel Drive Clutch Oil.
-- Insert the all-wheel drive clutch -1- in the rear final drive. Install the Guide Pins:T10093 for exact guidance.
-- Rotate at flange/driveshaft -2- and insert the all-wheel drive clutch all the way.
-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- to the tightening specification.
-- Connect the connector -B- to the All-Wheel Drive Control Module -J492- -A-.
-- Connect the connector -C-.
-- Remove the Engine Support:T50015A .
-- Attach the driveshaft to the rear final drive. Refer to DRIVESHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Tighten the pendulum support with new bolts -1- and -2- on the transmission. Refer to OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME .
-- If removed, install the center tunnel heat shield under the intermediate bearing. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - HEAT SHIELD .
-- Install the exhaust system and align it without tension. Refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER .
-- Add High Performance All-Wheel Drive Clutch Oil and check the oil level in the all-wheel drive clutch. Refer to ALL-WHEEL DRIVE CLUTCH OIL, DRAINING AND FILLING .
- If a new All-Wheel Drive Clutch Pump -V181- is being installed, a basic setting must be performed after installing.
