Clamping Sleeve Installation Position

Align the Front Clamping Sleeve

Requirement

• The exhaust system must be set up free of tension. Refer to Exhaust System, Installing without Tension  .

The clamping sleeve -1- must be positioned in distance -a- to the marking at the exhaust pipe -2-.

Distance -a-. Refer to Check and Adjustment Values .

Align the Connection

• The clamping sleeve must have equal distance to the adjacent components.

• The threaded connection -arrow- must be below the lower edge of the exhaust pipe.

Requirement

• The threaded connections must be tightened evenly.
