New Latch With Closing Assist, Installing

-- Push the clip -3- all the way in the direction of -arrow c- and hold.
-- Thread the release cable -1- in the lever -7- in direction of -arrow a-.
-- Install the release cable -2- in the retainer -arrow b-.
-- Release the clip -3- and remove from the latch -4- in direction of -arrow d-.
-- Pull the release -6- in direction of -arrow e-.
-- Push the latch -1- on the threaded pin until the retaining hooks -6- engage with the rear lid in direction of -arrow c-.
-- Tighten the hex nuts -2-.
-- Connect the connector -4- from the latch -1-.
- Perform a function test on the unlocking components before closing the rear lid.
Tightening Specifications
- Hex nuts. Refer to OVERVIEW - REAR LID .
