Release Cable, Removing And Installing, Through 02/24/2020: Removing

-- Open the hood.

-- Remove the release lever. Refer to LATCH RELEASE LEVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the release cable -3- from the mounting bracket -5- in direction of -arrow a-.

-- Remove the release cable coupling -2- from the support -7- in direction of -arrow e-.

-- Slightly remove the release cable -1- in direction of -arrow a-.

-- Open the cap of the release cable coupling in direction of -arrow b-.

-- Release the tension on the release cable -1- in direction of -arrow c- and remove it from the release cable coupling -2-.

NOTE:

To remove and install the release cable -3-, the support -7- is removed. Refer to OVERVIEW - LOCK CARRIER, THROUGH 02/24/2020 .
