Bumper Cover, Removing And Installing, Through 03/01/2020: Removing

-- Remove the radiator grille. Refer to RADIATOR GRILLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -4-.

-- Remove the screws -3- in the wheel housing (pointing upward) on the left and right sides.

NOTE:

Only loosen the wheel arch trim -2- in the area of the bumper cover. The clips OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL COVER in the fender are not loosened.

-- Press together the hook -6- from the wheel arch trim -2- on the inside of the bumper cover.

-- Loosen the wheel arch trim -2- from the bumper cover in the direction of -arrow A-.

-- Remove the bolts -5- from below.

A second technician is required for the rest of the removal procedure.

-- Pull the bumper cover -1- out of the left and right guide retainers on the fender direction of -arrow B-.

-- Loosen the bumper cover -1- from the retainers on the center guide and remove it parallel from the vehicle in direction of -arrow C-.

-- If equipped, release and disconnect the hose coupling for the washer fluid hoses. Refer to OVERVIEW - WINDSHIELD WASHER SYSTEM .

-- If equipped, release and disconnect the electrical component connectors.
