Side Adjusting Buffer, Adjusting

The procedure shown is for the left side of the vehicle as an example.

-- Loosen the bolt -3- only enough so that the adjusting buffer -2- can slide on the carrier plate -1-.

-- Use a commercially available cord -4- to free up the adjusting buffer -2-.

-- Close the rear lid.

-- Bring the adjusting buffer -2- with the cord -4- all the way to the rear lid.

-- Tighten the bolt -3-.
