Flange Shaft Ball Bearing, Replacing: Removing

-- Remove front axle differential lock. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT AXLE DIFFERENTIAL LOCK .

-- Secure the front axle differential lock to the engine and transmission holder. Refer to BEVEL BOX OR FRONT AXLE DIFFERENTIAL LOCK, SECURING TO ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION HOLDER .

-- Remove the flange shaft. Refer to Figure.

-- Pry out the flange shaft seal using a lever.

-- Remove the circlip in front of the ball bearing. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT AXLE DIFFERENTIAL LOCK COMPONENTS .

-- Remove the flange shaft ball bearing.

A -  Internal Extractor, for example Puller - Kukko Internal - 28-37mm : Kukko 21-5-E 

B -  Adapter from Slide Hammer: VW771
