Mounting Bracket, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Replace the self-locking nuts and clutch master cylinder seals after removing them.

-- Insert the crash bolster -1- and tighten the bolt -2-. Refer to OVERVIEW - INSTRUMENT PANEL CROSSMEMBER .

-- Install the Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface -J533-. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - CONTROL MODULES .

Vehicles with Knee Airbag

-- Install the driver knee airbag. Refer to the appropriate service information .

NOTE:

The battery will be installed and connected later.

-- Connect the hose/line assembly -1- with connection. Refer to Figure.

-- Connect the hose -2- to the clutch master cylinder.

After removing the :3094 , the hose must be formed back into its original shape.

-- Bleed the clutch mechanism. Refer to CLUTCH MECHANISM, BLEEDING .

Vehicles with Knee Airbag

-- Install and connect the battery. Refer to the appropriate service information and BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

Vehicles without Knee Airbag

-- Install and connect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
