Engine Support, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the resonator. Refer to INTAKE AIR SCOOP RESONATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the ribbed belt tensioner. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the upper toothed belt guard. Refer to UPPER TOOTHED BELT GUARD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the screw -1-.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -2- and remove the coolant hose.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and remove the catalytic converter bracket -2-.

-- Remove the connector -1-.

-- Free up the hose -2- from the EVAP canister.

-- Release the retainers with a screwdriver, in direction of -arrow- and move the coolant expansion tank to the side.

-- Open the clamp on the pipes of the A/C system.

-- Loosen the bolt -1-, but do not remove it.

-- Remove the screw -2-.

-- Tilt the generator -3- forward in direction of -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the front exhaust pipe bracket.

-- Remove the pendulum support. Refer to PENDULUM SUPPORT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Support the engine in the installation position. Refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLATION POSITION .

-- Slightly pretension the engine/transmission assembly with the spindle, do not lift.

-- Remove the engine mount. Refer to ENGINE MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Push the engine/transmission assembly slightly to the left and remove the engine support.
